When Nicole isn't at Broad River Animal Hospital she enjoys cooking, kayaking, traveling, and going to the beach.
We are fortunate to have Michelle on our team since 2009. Rita is a dedicated pet advocate who goes above and beyond for all fur babies! She has an extensive background in animal rescue. When she’s not at Broad River she spends her time relaxing, hanging with her newest rescue dog "Snooks", enjoying the beach, and spending time with her family and friends.
Maria like many of us has a lifelong love of being with animals and always dreamed of pursuing her career in the veterinary field. She enjoys the hands-on daily support of being a veterinary technician. It’s always a pleasure to have her with us on our busiest days. When she’s outside of Broad River she enjoys working in her yard and is converting it into a “mini-farm” atmosphere to house both chicken and goats. She has two dogs, two cats, and several thousands of Honey Bees!
Johan has been working at Broad River Animal Hospital for several years and recently was promoted to a technician. He is currently attending Penn Foster to become certified. We love his corky sense of humor that he brings to work with him daily and not to mention he’s BRAH’s own dog whisperer. When he’s not at Broad River he enjoys spending time with his two kids, coaching them in sports, cooking, and exercising.
Michele has been working in the veterinary industry for over thirty years. She's always had compassion towards animals and has given her support to pet parents in need over the years. We know Michele always has the animal's best interest at heart. When she's not at Broad River Animal Hospital she enjoys time with her two dachshunds Oscar and Logan and time with her son.
Sue has been working at Broad River Animal Hospital for several years. She’s always been passionate about animals and animal care. Sue has been an asset to us! You can find her at the front desk or assisting in appointments and on some days in the office. Currently, she has a mixed wire-y breed named "Zoey" and a cat named "Ring Ding" at home. She also spends time creating crocheted cat toys that are often available for sale at the front desk. Proceeds are given to “Animal Nation” a local rescue/rehabilitation non-profit group.
